This course emphasizes the
active exploration of dramatic forms and techniques, using
materials from a wide range of authors, genres and cultures.
This course is heavily focussed on performance; both individual
and in groups. You must participate fully in all group work
and approach your performances with enthusiasm and concentration.
You are required to keep
a Response Journal which may include
creative ideas, observations, feelings dreams, sketches, reviews
and impressions relating to in-class and out-of-class experiences.
The purpose of the journal is to make you more aware of your
own ideas and feellilngs. You are required to complete at
least one formal piece of reflective writing per week for
evaluation.
