Evaluation
You will be evaluated in this course for both TERM work (70%) and FINAL summative activities (30%). The Final Summative Assessment will take the form of a two part written exam. For both TERM work and FINAL activities, your grade will be based on your abilities in the following categories: Knowledge and Understanding, Thinking and Inquiry, Communication, Application. Assignments in EWC4U will be recorded in the following catergories:

  • Term Work - 30%
  • Term Writing - 40%
  • Fiction Exam –15%
  • Non-fiction Exam –15%
