Welcome to IDC4U2:
Course Outline:
The yearbook course is very
unique and diverse; it allows you as a student to tap into
many areas of the senior level English curriculum. It is a
product driven course that requires that we meet very strict
deadlines from our publishing plants. The primary focus of
this course is to produce a professional publication that
represents our school.
Course Expectations:
Deadlines are a key part
to this course. They are set with a realistic management strategy
for students to complete the assigned work. Having said that,
it is still your duty to complete and submit all work on the
specific dates set. The Deadlines that you work towards are
not simply for the purpose of your final mark; you must work
towards the plant deadlines that have been given to us, with
no excepetions.
Course Evaluation:
As with all English courses
at Denison, the yearbook course follows the same evaluation
breakdown:
- Course Work (70%)
- tests, quizzes, journals, unit assignments, presentations,
deadline completion
- Final Assessment (30%)
- studio exam, final yearbook portfolio
