On Tues., Feb. 26 five GeoClub members along with Mr. Hunter and Mr. Parrott traveled to Toronto to participate in the first day of a conference focusing on the sustainable city.  Each team member attended a different series of workshops. As well several key note addresses inspired the participants including one from Toronto Councilor Jack Layton.  We also presented a display showing the progress on the Denison Project so far.

    The conference is designed to assist schools in initiating and completing a sustainable community project.  In our case we will focus on the future of the land including and running north of Denne Bush.  Over the next few weeks we sill be working out a plan including goals and actions.  We will
continue to update this page so return frequently.

    This project will effect everyone living in the Denison School area.
