Physical Geography
                  (Grade 11 University/College)

How and when did our planet form?

What forces created our awe-inspiring mountain ranges?

How do we find gold and diamonds?

How is our earthly energy stored and released, with at times disastrous results?

The "Big Blue Marble" we call Earth is all about space and time.  We only have so much space and this space is constantly shaking, erupting, drifting, braking down and being altered in so many ways.  We have only had a little time to try to understand how these forces have transformed our planet and affected our population in the past present and possibly in our future.
This course strives to teach you to appreciate the complexity and beauty of our physical world and how our place on it is under constant change.
