Grade 11 Travel & Tourism

        The African Savanna Grasslands are one of the world's largest "biomes."  This natural region shares a wide variety of animal and plant species which provide a profitable tourism industry in East Africa.  Safari Tourism's main attractions are the presence of the grassland's large mammals and the living habits of its carnivores.

        Each term Grade 11 Travel and Tourism students visit the Toronto Metro Zoo and the African Safari Exhibit to learn more about this fascinating region of the world.
