History Department Unit 3 - 19th c west and the world Arts display Music, art and literature not only reflect their time period, but also often are on the leading edge of the changes happening in the period. At the end of Unit 3, we will look back at some of the most important artists of the 19th c to help us understand the period. Research notes: For the person that you are assigned, make notes on his/her biography creating a timeline to understand this person's life and the times. Select 8-10 important events. Research the times and the arts movement of which your person is a part.
