Players:
Each team will have seven players on the field of play. All players
are eligible receivers.
Scoring:
Touchdowns (6 points) : when a pass is completed or a runner
carries the ball across the goal line into the end zone.
Conversion (1 or 2 points): is attempted from the seven yard
line after a touchdown is scored. A kick conversion is worth 1 point while
a run or pass play if successful is worth 2 points.
Safety (2 points) -when the ball becomes dead behind a players
own goal line. Points are awarded to the opposing team. The team scored
upon kicks off from theirquarter line.
Kick-Off :
Each half starts with a punt or place kick from anywhere behind their own quarterline. The kicking team must remain behind the quarter line and the receiving team behind the centre line until the ball is kicked. When a kick-off is fumbled in or lands in the end zone, it is a touchback and the receiving team shall start their series of downs on their own quarter line. A player may catch the ball in the end zone and ground it. On any kick-off if it is fumbled by the receiving team it is dead and play begins from that spot.
Scrimmage Play:
Four downs to advance the ball and score a touchdown, not including
conversion and accepted penalties. The offensive team must be behind the
line of scrimmage until the ball is centered; the defensive team must be
2 yards from the line of scrimmage when the ball is centered. The defender
guarding the quarterback must coun~ to 5 steamboats before crossing the
line of
scrimmage. The quarterback may not cross the line of scrimmage until
the ball is passed or handed off to another player.
Centering the Ball :
The ball must be centered within 30 seconds after the ball has been declared ready for play by the referee. If the ball touches the ground after is has been centered before reaching the quarterback or if fumbled by the quarterback, the offensive team may continue the play. The defensive may immediately touch the quarterback. i.e.. no steamboat count
Scrimmage Kick:
A team who is behind their own quarter line may punt on any down.

Flag Rules
1. Every player will wear a belt with two flags, they must be worn around the waist and adjusted with one flag on each hip. They may not be worn in any manner which makes it difficult to remove.
2. A player who is judged to have guarded the flag will be assessed a penalty of 15 yards from the point of infraction.
3. Straight arming is considered flag guarding.
4. Any player who deliberately removes a flag from an opposing player who is not a ball carrier will be assessed a major penalty of 15 yards. this does not apply for defensive players who remove the flag of back-fielders faking through the line.
5. Defensive players can stop the ball carrier.Qlll¥ by removing either of his flags or by touching with 1 hand it the ball carrier loses 1 or both of their flags.
Definition of Terms
Centering: the act of putting the ball in play. The ball must pass through the legs of the center on all plays except for kick-off.
Flag Guarding: any player using hands, arms or clothing to prevent a player form pulling a flag
Fumble: failure of a player to retain possession of the ball while running or while attempting to receive a kick, hand-off toward or lateral pass. All fumbles except on a center, ends the play.
Lateral Pass: a pass that is thrown back toward the passer's own goal.
Pass Interference: an act in which a player pushes, blocks, removes a flag or holds an opponent to prevent him from catching or intercepting a pass after the ball has left the hands of the passer.
